Bijoy Sagar

Bijoy Sagar is the Chief Information and Digital Officer of Bayer. Prior to Bayer, Sagar was the CDTO of the US medical technology company Stryker, where he was also a member of the executive team. In these roles, he developed and implemented digital strategy and managed global IT organizations. Sagar has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare and life science sectors. He has previously worked for pharma and biotech companies Millennium Pharmaceuticals, Amgen, Eli Lilly & Company and Merck KGaA. He has professional and personal experience outside the US in Switzerland, India and Germany. He also co-founded three companies and serves on advisory boards of several organizations. Sagar holds MS degrees from the University of Mumbai and Northeastern University, Boston.
