Andrew L'Huillier

Andrew received his BS in biology from Saint Joseph's University and PhD in immunology from
Rutgers University, with a brief stint as an archeologist in between. He has worked in
biotech and large pharma for the past decade, primarily in precision medicine. Andrew has worked with many types of companies from small startups to large international companies as a consultant, with many industry groups on policy topics, and now helps to lead regulatory strategy for diagnostics at Merck. In his spare time, Andrew is also an active investor in startups.
Andrew's work has also focused for many years on digital products and AI used in healthcare
and their regulation, including software as a medical device and software in a medical device, and more recently generative AI.
