Angela Wang

Angela has extensive business development, investment, product management, and research experience in biotech and healthcare industries. As the China Commercial Director at Novotech, her main responsibility is to bridge the needs of biotech and pharmaceutical companies in North America/Europe with what we offer in China. This involves helping client’s regulatory, clinical, and commercialization strategies, identifying potential partners via licensing and setting up joint ventures, and assisting selected customers to raise needed fund for conducting clinical trials. She also helps clients with MRCT global trials involving regions in APAC, the US, and EU.

Prior to joining Novotech, Angela held the Sr. Director of Business Development position at ClinChoice, Director of Investments and Operations at several venture capital firms as well as various senior product management and marketing roles at ThermoGenesis, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Abaxis, etc. Her experience in CRO, investment, and product management allows her to have deep understanding of the regulatory and clinical development environment in China, product life cycle management, global collaborations via licensing and setting up joint ventures, and customer’s clinical development needs.

Angela Wang received her MBA degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and B.S. in Cell Biology from Wuhan University. She is based in San Francisco Bay Area. In her spare time, Angela enjoys art, music, reading, writing, and hiking in nature.
