Mike has served as a lecturer, mentor and judge at numerous universities including GWU, Tulane, UCSF He has served as chairman of an ethics commitment and served on the NIH BioMedical Committee in Bethesda, MD.

He is a former White House Intern during President Jimmy Carter administration. He has a masters in health services administration form the School of Business at The George Washington University and dual degrees from Regis University in international relations and communications. "
